I'm here to give you a few updates since my last post.
So, what’s been happening since May 2024? Well, both a lot and not much at the same time. As you know, I was hired to work on another comic, a slice of life story. Since then, I’ve been incredibly busy and haven’t really been able to work on Persephone between May and July. However! I finally have a little bit of time now, with summer vacation, my routine has changed, and I’ve finally been able to make progress on Persephone.
If you want to stay updated on my progress, feel free to follow my Instagram and TikTok accounts. I’m not very active there, but it will give you a good sense of the project’s status.

I'm writing this quick update to let you know that I have to take a short break.
Originally, I planned to release 10 chapters just like last time. However, due to various personal obligations and also because I've been hired to draw another comic book, I've fallen behind schedule. I was hoping to release 8 chapters, but unfortunately, that won't be possible.
As of now, there are 2 chapters almost ready (they just need to be colored). However, the conclusion of the last chapter doesn't have a cliffhanger. The chapter ends with a very ordinary dialogue like, "did you see, he can do it!" (of course, that's not the exact dialogue, but it gives you an idea of how ordinary it is).
Due to my professional commitments, I don't think I'll have time to draw an additional chapter, then correct it, translate it (for the English version), color it, and then letter it.
Therefore, it's better to stick with the cliffhanger from chapter 15, rather than taking a break on an uninteresting conclusion.
In total, there are 6 or 7 chapters left before the end of the "first volume". A sequel is obviously planned, the writing is already done, but the storyboard isn't.
I hope to be able to reveal all these chapters by the end of the year. As a reminder, I work alone on this project, in my spare time and without being paid, so I can't delegate tasks like coloring.
